TEMECULA CHAMBER’S VALLEY YOUNG PROFESSIONALS’ FEBRUARY MIXER
AT YARD HOUSE MARKS LARGEST ATTENDANCE TO DATE

Temecula, Calif (March 4, 2010) – The Valley Young Professionals (VYP), a division of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, hosted its Mardi Gras-themed VYPER event at Yard House Thursday, February 25 and welcomed the largest attendance of VYP members and guests since the group’s inception in 2008. The sixty-one attendees mingled with local professionals while enjoying appetizers provided courtesy of the Temecula Stage Stop, raffle prizes and Mardi Gras giveaways.

“We are thrilled to see the growth of our VYPER events as well as the Valley Young Professionals as a division of the Temecula Chamber. We are really starting to make an impact in the community through our networking, education and civic programs and hope to continue this success,” said Tiffany Carreon, VYP Committee Chair.

Attendees were treated to appetizers and the first 50 guests received a $10 Yard House gift card. Raffle prizes included apparel from Wine On A Dime, coffee mugs and Starbucks gift cards courtesy of Financial Accounting Services, a pound of fudge from the Old Town Sweet Shop and the Mardi Gras bead game winner received a wine basket courtesy of The Temecula Insider. RKR Marketing was also on hand to give away Walmart gift cards and free marketing services via a text-in contest.

VYP encourages advancement through Professional, Civic and Social events with an approach that fosters collaboration and inspires young professionals to put ideas into action. The recently announced 2010 Committee Chairs and Sub-Committees including Membership, Networking, Civic, Education, Social Media and Public Relations have planned events and programs to encourage and implement the group’s vision over the next year.

The next VYPER event is going to be held at The Melting Pot, Thursday March 25 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
